Dunster
By Candlelight. The medieval village of Dunster
largely abandons electric light to light its streets
with candles. To mark the beginning a Lantern Light
Procession is at 5.30pm on the Friday evening. See stiltwalkers
in costume, carol singers, morris dancers, bell ringers
and a brass band to put you in the festive mood. There
is a traditional atmosphere for all ages. Restaurants
and food stalls offer refreshmet while shops are open
for Christmas shopping.
